Homes and neighbourhoods in Perth, Scotland
The Fair City on the River Tay — districts we know, and nearby places we also visit for surveys.

The Fair City on the Tay
Perth, Scotland sits on the River Tay with Smeaton’s Bridge linking the centre to Bridgend, the North Inch and South Inch framing open ground by the water, and Kinnoull Hill rising to the east. People still call it the Fair City — a local fact, not a slogan. Most addresses fall in postcode districts PH1 and PH2; Scone is PH2.
Homes here range from grey stone streets near St John’s Kirk to later estates outward from the centre. When you request double glazing in Perth, the survey looks at the opening in front of us — not a guessed template for the whole town.

Perth districts
Named places within the city — for geography, not as separate service URLs.

Tight stone streets, shopfronts and flats above — older reveals and busy pavements.
North Inch and South Inch
Houses and flats near open riverside ground; rooms can feel the Tay weather more directly.
Bridgend, Muirton, North Muirton
Across the river and north of the centre, with later housing patterns and practical openings.
Letham, Hillyland, Tulloch
West and north-west mix of mid and later twentieth-century homes.
Craigie, Moncreiffe, Oakbank
South of the centre, climbing away from the river with their own street patterns.
Gannochy, Barnhill, Kinnoull
East of the Tay — elevation and aspect matter when talking about comfort and exposure.
